Ngong Road is the busy edge of Kilimani, and it is also one end of Kamburu Drive. In light traffic you are at the door in a few minutes. In the evening rush, the same short distance takes patience.

The route
Kamburu Drive meets Ngong Road. From the Kilimani shops, stay on Ngong Road until the Kamburu turn near Pinetree Plaza. Do not turn into Prestige or Adlife and assume that is the spa.
From 5 to 7 p.m. the Kilimani stretch of Ngong Road can add 10 minutes or more. Leave earlier or come after 8.
Light traffic versus the evening crawl
By day, the Kilimani part of Ngong Road moves, and the turn into Kamburu Drive is obvious once you are told Pinetree Plaza. Two to five minutes covers most starts between the Kindaruma side and the first shops.
From about 5 to 7 p.m. the road fills toward town and toward the malls. The distance does not change. The time does. If your booking is at 6, leave as if it were a longer trip, or move the hour to after 8, when the same road is ordinary again.
Do not stop at the wrong plaza
Ngong Road has several plazas that sound like a destination. Prestige Plaza and Adlife Plaza are on this road and have their own pages, because they are further along. The spa is not inside either of them. It is on Kamburu Drive, at the turn near Pinetree Plaza.
Ride-hail pins sometimes sit on Ngong Road itself. If you are dropped on the main road, walk or ride the last turn onto the drive. Message us and we will tell you which side of Ngong Road you are on.
Local notes
- Say Pinetree Plaza, not just Ngong Road. The road is long and the pin wanders.
- If you are booking for 6 p.m., leave before the crawl or pick 8:30.
- Matatus stop along Ngong Road. A boda from the stop to Kamburu Drive is a normal last step.
- Do not follow a pin into a plaza basement. The suite is up the drive.

Can I walk from the Ngong Road shops?
From the shops closest to the Kamburu junction, yes. From further toward Adams Arcade, ride. The pavement is busy and the evening road is not a calm walk.
What if my driver stops at Prestige Plaza?
You are on the right road and past the turn. Ask them to continue or return to Kamburu Drive. Prestige has its own timing on our areas page.
Is a late Ngong Road departure easier?
Yes. After 8 p.m., and through the night, this stretch is usually back inside the 2–5 minute range. The spa is open 24 hours.
